Even though the start of college football season is still three months away, some of the college football preview magazines have already hit the bookstores and grocery store shelves.



While these annual publications aren't always chock-full of new information or insight, they do give rabid college football fans something to chew on during the long summer months. They can also provide an unbiased glimpse into how the college football world looks upon certain programs.

From a review of arguably the three most popular preseason magazines - Athlon, Lindy's and Phil Steele - it's apparent that the nation's perception of Florida State has changed as have the expectations.
