Maze still strong; sets official visit

TheWolverine.com Michigan will be losing their "human highlight reel" after this season when fifth-year senior Steve Breaston hangs up his cleats and moves forward with his career. Breaston will leave Ann Arbor with nearly every return record in the books and will be tough to replace, especially on special teams. Class of 2007 commitment Marquis Maze is expected to be in competition to fill those cleats next year.
At 5-8 and 160 pounds, Maze does not have the height nor size of Breaston, but his elusiveness in the open field and 4.4 40-yard dash speed will certainly provide the Wolverines with return talent to fill the void. Being used like Breaston is used is not limited to just special teams, however. Maze says Michigan plans to split him out and have him play, at least in some packages, at receiver.
