Panthers shoot down the Rockets

Panther-lair.com The Toledo Rockets came to Heinz Field on Saturday with hopes of repeating their upset of the Pitt Panthers three years ago, but one thing was glaringly clear: it's not 2003 anymore. And the Panthers made sure to emphasize that point early and often en route to a 45-3 victory. The win gives Pitt a 4-1 record as they get set for conference play.
"I don't care who you play or where you're playing," Pitt head coach Dave Wannstedt said after the game. "When you win a football game and do some good things you can never take it lightly. These games are not easy to come by."
