UCLA to battle USC for L.A. Supremacy
Everything you look at makes you think the Trojans are going to win this game. USC is playing better than any school in the Pac-10 right now, while UCLA comes off a lackluster effort in their first loss of the season, and walks into this game without Josh Shipp, its second leading scorer.
Tim Floyd has gotten his group of undisciplined, offensive minded players to buy into playing great defense night in and night out. They pack it in, but have the athleticism and quickness to challenge perimeter shots, holding opponents to 35 percent from the floor and 28 percent from three point range. Those statistics place the Trojans in the top five nationally in each category.
