College Park (GA) Banneker High School DB Darrell Simmons has spoken to Cane coaches since the dead period ended.

"I talked to coach (Tommie) Robinson," Simmons said. "He was just telling me to stay on my grades, things like that."

Simmons says the Hurricanes remain his frontrunner.

But where he once planned to make an early decision he now says he's not sure when he'll announce a choice.

"It could be after the season – I don't know," he said.
