UM confirmed today that Jordan Futch and Ryan Hill are both out for the year. Futch underwent surgery, apparently for a torn knee ligament. Futch had performed well on special teams and at linebacker - he had played in every game, starting two, and had four tackles on the season. Hill moved from safety to cornerback this season and was a veteran leader. He played in three games before going out with injury and now has undergone season ending surgery. Other players out for the year with injury are Gavin Hardin, Shayon Green and Dyron Dye. Randy Shannon also said on Sunday that it's possible Marcus Forston will miss the rest of the year due to injury.
