Why the future is bright offensively
Goodbread: Of the 12 players on the two-deep roster up front (10 linemen plus two tight ends), only Justin Britt and Chris Capps graduate. With competition presumably wide open at all the offensive skill positions, the door is open for an experienced line to step into a leadership role on this side of the ball. Andre Smith and Antoine Caldwell - if the latter doesn't exit early for the NFL Draft - could be primed for their best seasons yet at the Capstone.

Goodbread: Consistency at quarterback. John Parker Wilson showed a maddening knack for playing well one week and not well the next, and while there is no good time for a turnover, too many of his seemed to come at the worst times. .
