Goldman a priority for UVa

It's too early to compile an exhaustive list of the top prospects in the class of 2012, but it's safe to assume Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy defensive tackle Eddie Goldman will enjoy a pretty lofty ranking.

With verbal offers from nearly four dozen schools, Goldman will be able to have his pick of just about any major college football program in the nation.

Goldman could end up being considered one of the top defensive line prospects from the D.C. area in recent memory, and that's saying something.

If coaches were asked to draw up a prototypical defensive tackle that you can plug in the middle of a line and disrupt an offense what they would come up with would probably look something like the 6-foot-4, 307-pound prospect.
