McDonough's Coates pulls the trigger on dream school

McDonough cornerback [db]Marchez Coates[/db] knew he wanted to be a Pittsburgh Panther three years ago when he was just a freshman at North Point High in Waldorf, Md. That summer, after his first jayvee season, Coates and a group of area prospects went on a college sightseeing tour with a local assistant coach, Cory Lee. They toured all the nearby schools, from Maryland to Connecticut to Penn State to West Virginia to Pittsburgh. Three years later, Coates decided he'd like to be at Pitt full-time.
