Brice favoring one; decision close
RUSTON, La. - Kentrell Brice is of course a former Missouri commitment. After making one commitment and backing away from it, Brice wants to make sure the next time he is done.
Brice said he is favoring one more than the other but says he does not want to say it just yet.
When asked if he could give an indication of it's the school real close to home or a little further away he said, "it's the one that's close to home."
When asked about the pros and cons about Louisiana-Lafayette and Louisiana Tech he said the pros of them both are that he can play early and he cannot see any cons.
Initially, Louisiana Tech was recruiting Brice as a safety. His teammate, Cyril Noland committed to Tech last week at that position. Now Tech wants Brice at his natural position, cornerback. He says that helps Tech.
"It helps," said Brice. It's my natural position and I know how to play it."
Brice made it to Tech's practice Friday before lightning delayed practice. He said he will have to make it to the Saturday practices now because Ruston High School begins practice this week.
Brice says he wants to make his decision soon, but wants to make this is last decision. He says it will come this week or at the beginning of his senior season.
