Some of the top junior receivers in the state of Ohio were in Columbus on Sunday afternoon as Ohio State hosted another big junior day. Among the outstanding receivers in attendance was Akron (Ohio) Firestone product Kevin Gladney. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound prospect got the full campus tour and came away impressed with what he saw.

"It was good," said Gladney. "It's a nice city. It's a football city, it's all about Ohio State down there. We just toured the campus and watched a highlight tape on the big screen in the stadium. We really just toured the whole campus, checked out the facilities and checked out the dorms."

Gladney said his favorite part of the junior day trip was the tour of the campus.

"I'm a big Ohio State fan so I was taking pictures and stuff," he said. "It's an outstanding campus really. It's one of the best campuses in the nation."

Gladney has seen his recruiting stock rise in recent weeks and now holds three impressive offers from Big Ten programs.

"I've got Michigan, Michigan State, and Nebraska," he said. "It's a blessing really. All of my hard work on the field has kind of paid off now and I've showed what I can do."

When asked if he had any favorites, Gladney was hesitant to mention any specific programs but ultimately hinted at one Big Ten school that has caught his attention recently.

"Not right now," he said. "Michigan is kind of (standing out) because they were my first offer and they have showed me a lot of respect."

Gladney added that he has been invited to junior days at both Michigan State and Illinois but is unsure if he will be able to attend.

Gladney is the No. 13 ranked prospect in the BuckeyeGrove.com class of 2013 Ohio rankings.
