Spring Tour: Ivie seeing stock soar

DADE CITY, Fla. - The 6-foot-4, 270-pound fullback is 15 yards down field with the ball when a safety gives him a playful shove and chimes in with a "C'mon man, that's not fair."

Joey Ivie is the fullback on the play in 90-degree-heat 11-on-11 drills at Dade City (Fla.) Pasco. His college recruitment has exploded over the past few months. Every team from Florida to Miami to Tennessee wants him to be a pass-rush defensive end for their program. Some schools like UF are looking at him as an end/tackle combo depending on what kind of set the defense is in.

None of this seemed tangible just a season ago.
