When Dan Skipper committed to Arkansas and Cameron Hunt did not name Ohio State a finalist it appeared that the quest for one more offensive lineman was over for the Buckeyes. On Thursday we learned that was not the case when the Bucks offered JUCO offensive tackle Matt Finnin, a 6-foot-7, 305 pound three star out of College of DuPage and currently a Nebraska commit.

Finnin only committed to the Huskers less than two weeks ago and held offers from several schools including Oklahoma, Maryland and Kansas where he took official visits to before committing to the Huskers after his visit to Lincoln (Neb.).

"Yeah, its true (that Ohio State offered)," Finnin told BuckeyeGrove.com via text message on Thursday morning.

The three star lineman still would have room for one more official visit under the NCAA rules allowing five trips and the Buckeyes are hoping to get the big lineman out to campus before everything shuts down in advance of National Signing Day on February 6th. Finnin is not sure if he is still open to looking around or ready to shut things down.

"I have no clue really," Finnin added. "I still haven't talked with my folks."

With the last window of official visits starting Friday, there won't be a lot of time for discussion so expect a pretty quick decision for Finnin in regards to either taking one more visit or shutting things down and signing with Nebraska next week.

Finnin will reach out to BuckeyeGrove.com once he has made a decision on a visit and we will keep you update on this late breaking story.
