Virgin not satisfied with just three offers

Fort Pierce (Fla.) Westwood quarterback Isaac Virgin has seen his scholarship offer total climb to three, but it is not enough for the 6-foot-4, 232-pound gunslinger. Virgin has his final opportunity this fall to show colleges across the nation his skills and he believes his senior campaign will be a rousing success.

"I think once everybody sees what my (upside) is like at quarterback, I'll get more views, but right now things are just running a little low," Virgin said. "The main reason I think why I haven't gotten many offers from schools is because they want me to play quarterback, but they really can't (evaluate) me because I haven't played quarterback too much my last two years."

Virgin's three scholarship offers are from Iowa State, South Florida and Liberty. He also hears from schools such as Boston College, Buffalo, Florida International and Georgia. Virgin is not disappointed with who he is receiving the attention from, just how much of it has come his way this far in the process.

"I just want to see how everything turns out before I make my decision, but right now everybody's pretty even," Virgin said.
