Phillip Thomas had 55 tackles, eight interceptions, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries this past season. Those numbers led Thomas from a sleeper prospect to become a solid division one prospect. The eight interceptions he had led his area [Dade County] in interceptions. Florida State also came in late and were showing serious interest in Thomas.
Dale Peterman could possibly be the best athlete coming into Syracuse in 2009.
