Brevin Jordan: `I'm hoping for the best for everyone'

Cane TE commitment Brevin Jordan is keeping close tabs on his fellow commits that live in Florida as Hurricane Irma pounds the state.

“I’m in a group chat with a lot of them,” he said Sunday night. “They keep me updated with what the category is. Some of them went to Georgia right now.”

Jordan says he spoke with Mark Richt and that “He said he went to Orlando, that it took him 12 hours to drive there from Miami.

“I’ve also talked with coach (Todd) Hartley. The coaches are doing alright.”

Jordan adds that “I’m just hoping for the best for everyone.”

* Jordan’s season is ongoing, and in this past weekend’s game he had a 45-yard touchdown grab. It was his second TD of the season.
