Jones Was At Temple Game

South Dade High School RB Charlie Jones says he could make a decision in the near future and he still lists himself as leaning strongly toward the Hurricanes.
Why might he be interested in making a decision sooner rather than later?

“I’m getting a lot of calls – every night the phone is just ringing and ringing and ringing,” he said. “My mom’s grouchy (because of all the calls).”
But at the same time Jones has official visits set up that run through January. He’s scheduled to visit Ohio State Dec. 5, Michigan Dec. 13 and Florida Jan. 9.
He lists his favorites after Miami as Ohio State, Michigan and N.C. State.
And Jones was at UM’s game on Saturday against Temple.
“We left early because my dad wanted to leave -- it was getting kind of boring,” Jones said. “There were a handful of recruits there. I just happened to wear my jersey to the game – fans were saying `Hi’ and `Oh, we need you, choose the Hurricanes,’ stuff like that. It made me feel pretty good. I just smiled at them.”
So far this season Jones’ best game was against Sunset, when he rushed for 238 yards.
Last game he had 94 yards and a touchdown against Coral Reef but injured his shoulder in the second half.
“It’s a little sore but I think it’ll be better for the next game,” Jones said.
