Miami Lands Linebacker Rocky Shelton From Duke Via Transfer Portal
Former St. Thomas Aquinas High School player and Duke linebacker Rocky Shelton has committed to Miami via social media
Shelton recorded 48 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and an interception in five seasons.
Shelton played high school football for one of the powerhouse programs in the nation in Aquinas, where he was a three-star prospect from the 2018 class. He was the 21st-nationally ranked player in his position as an inside linebacker.
Miami suddenly has a stacked linebacker room with Wesley Bissainthe, Corey Flagg, Jr., Francisco Mauigoa, Keontra Smith, Chase Smith, and incoming recruits Raul Aguirre, Malik Bryant, Marcellius Pulliam, and Bobby Washington.
