In Coach Jim Larranaga's first season with the Canes, No. 6 UM defeated No. 11 Georgia Tech in the first round, then lost to No. 3 Florida State.
Miami will open the tournament with a practice at 5 p.m. on Wednesday in Greensboro Coliseum.
