NOTE: Tonight's scrimmage was closed to the media; the following is the synopsis provided by UM:
For their second and final scrimmage of Canes Camp, the Miami Hurricanes played under the lights Friday night at Cobb Stadium.
Friday's second live action scrimmage last nearly two hours and featured simulated noise during each drive.
Prior to the game, the Hurricanes presented Jack Jablonski with a jersey. Jablonski was a Minnesota prep hockey standout who was paralyzed after being checked into the boards during a tournament in December 2011.
The first half of the scrimmage featured the first-team offense vs. the first-team defense. After a brief halftime, the second-team offense squared off against the second-team defense.
Senior QB Stephen Morris and junior QB Ryan Williams threw two touchdowns each. Both of Morris' scores went for more than 50 yards, while Williams targeted freshman WR Stacy Coley twice.
Sophomore PK Matt Goudis was a perfect 2-for-2 on field goal attempts, improved to 5-for-5 in the two scrimmages.
