Talented 4-star CB Stafford commits to Miami Hurricanes

Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie High School DB Robert Stafford came down to an Arkansas-Miami battle.

And he announced his decision today.

He's a Miami Hurricane.

Stafford landed almost 50 offers during his recruiting process, and has been high on the radar of colleges since his freshman year. He picked up a Miami offer from the prior staff in June of 2020 (his 10th offer at that time) and was quickly reoffered by the new staff.

Stafford has played on varsity since his freshman year. He began as a wide receiver starting to play both ways just last season.

He was recruited by Miami as a cornerback and plans to enroll in January.

This is another big pickup by Mario Cristobal and his staff, and more should be rolling in for Miami as July goes along as well.
