Miami had three players selected in the 2023 draft (Tyrique Stevenson, Will Mallory, and DJ Ivey). There is a high likelihood that Miami will have more selections in the 2024 draft.

If Miami players continue to put up big numbers and impressive performances, we could see multiple players drafted back-to-back years since 2020-2022.

Akheem Mesidor, Defensive Lineman, Five Technique

Round Projection: 4th

Although Akheem Mesidor has been absent in the last two games due to injury, he is still projected as a third to fourth-round pick. He ranks 34th in run defense among edge rushers, according to PFF.

Tyler Van Dyke

Position Rank: 11th

Overall Rank: 130th

Tyler Van Dyke's draft stock will depend on how many quarterbacks declare for the NFL draft. If players like Shadeur Sanders and Caleb Williams decide to stay in college, their chances of becoming a day-two pick would be boosted.

Pro Football Focus is exceptionally high on Van Dyke, grading him as the highest-graded quarterback in college football.
