Miami has made it a trend to grab duos of brothers since head coach Mario Cristobal arrived and the brother of All-American safety Kam Kinchens just made a huge move that connects him even closer to the program.

The 2024 defensive back Demetrius Kinchens transferred over to Miami Central on Tuesday, joining one of Miami's most important pipeline programs.

Kinchens as a strong contributor at Miami Edison this season, breaking up four passes and grabbing an interception in ten games. He has yet to pick up his first offer.

The Miami legacy made some headlines last week, putting together an elite performance at the RAW Miami seven-on-seven showcase, locking down some elite offensive talent that was on hand. He has several pass breakups and with his brother in attendance, created a wave of energy that had many wondering who he was and where he played.

An unknown until recent, Kinchens is 5'11" 160+-pounds and is likely to play safety at the next level like his brother. Soon to be on the brightest of stages over the next 11 months, he is a name to watch in recruiting.
