Miami (22-5, 13-4) travels to Blacksburg in an attempt to extend its six-game winning streak. The Hurricanes will look to build its resume for the NCAA tournament, Miami is projected to be a 4 or 5 seed by most experts.
Miami leads the ACC in scoring at 79.7 per game and is shooting 48.7 percent from the field. Guard Isaiah Wong leads the Hurricanes with 16.4 points per contest and guard Jordan Miller is averaging 15.6 points in his last ten games.
Guard Nijel Pack has also really performed at a high level as of late scoring at least 20 points in four of the last five games.
Virginia Tech (16-11) would need some help to get into the big dance and a win over Miami would definitely help its chances. Hokie forward Grant Basile scored 22 points in a win 79-72 over Pitt in its last game.
Sean Pedulla is scoring 14.7 points per game on 39 percent shooting. Tech is 12-3 at home this season and is averaging 75.6 points in its last ten games.
