Miami Lands Defensive Back Terry Roberts Via Transfer Portal From Iowa

Miami strikes again via the transfer portal. Terry Roberts, defensive back from Iowa is another veteran that the Hurricanes have added to beef up the defensive back room.

Roberts is already enrolled in school for the spring but his announcement was public Monday via social media.

Roberts was a contributor to the Iowa defense before suffering an injury that held him out for the season last year. The 5'10 170 pound DB had 13 total tackles two passes defended and an interception in 2022.

He played four seasons totaling 47 tackles. In 2022, Roberts put together his best season with a 79 grade according to Pro Football Focus.

Roberts was a three-star rated DB from Cathedral Prep in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Roberts is the second veteran DB added to the room along with Davonte Brown.
