After a dominating win over Duke (17-8, 8-6) last Monday, and another home win over Louisville (3-22, 1-13) Saturday night, Miami (20-5, 11-4) moved up four spots to no. 15 in the nation in this week's AP poll.
The Hurricanes are one of three ACC teams ranked for the second straight week. Virginia (19-4, 11-3) moved up one spot to seventh after wins over NC State (20-6, 10-5) and Duke. The Wolfpack only dropped one spot to 23rd after blowing out Boston College by 30 points Saturday.
Miami is one of two teams with 20 wins in the conference (NC St.). Duke and Miami are the only teams in the league with undefeated home records.
Miami is now 26-10 in its last 36 ACC games, passing Duke (24-12) for the best mark among all teams in the league during that stretch. Miami is currently riding a four-game winning streak in which the Canes are averaging 86 points per game while allowing 75 points per contest.
Miami is on the road Monday to take on North Carolina (16-9, 8-6). The tip is scheduled for 7:00 PM EST and will be televised on ESPN. Miami hosts Wake Forest (17-9, 9-6) Saturday at 2:00 PM.
