Starting Miami Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke could miss the prime-time matchup against Clemson due to injury.

Multiple reports confirm that the Miami QB will test his health in warm-ups to determine if he can play.

This week it was reported that Van Dyke is dealing with injuries, but coaches denied that the injuries were serious.

Miami is seeking its first conference win of the season at 8 PM Eastern at Hard Rock Stadium.

Update:

Starting Quarterback Tyler Van Dyke was not seen in warm-ups. True Freshman Quarterback Emory Williams will make his first collegiate start for Miami.

Williams was a three-star prospect and completed 161 of 257 pass attempts (62.6 percent) for 2,049 yards with 21 touchdowns and four interceptions as a senior.

He picked Miami over offers from Auburn, California, Florida State, Pitt, and Wisconsin.

This season, Williams has appeared in three games and has completed 80 percent of his passes (12-15) for 144 yards.
