Offensive line coach Alex Mirabal answered questions from the media Tuesday after spring practice No. 7.

He first talked about how the offensive line works as a unit and mentioned that he and head coach Mario Cristobal are attempting to determine who is trustworthy. He said there are eight to nine players they trust to perform in games.

Anez Cooper and Jalen Rivers were the first names mentioned when he answered a question about which players have emerged as leaders on the line (1:40). Mirabal commented on the development of Rivers at left tackle (3:01). Mirabal also mentioned freshman Markel Bell worked at left tackle in practice today.

He comments on second-year player Samson Okunlola recovering from injury (5:01). Today, he took reps at left tackle, left guard, and right tackle. He explains how he doesn't recruit players to play one position (6:16) and comments on the impact of transfer quarterback Cam Ward (7:30). Mirabal called Ward an "honorary offensive lineman."

He expounded on Bell's impact on the program (9:01) and shared his thoughts on 'developmental years' (10:16).

Lastly, Mirabal talks about Indiana transfer Zach Carpenter (11:20), and how he is ambiddextrous at snapping the football.
