Miami Lands Offensive Lineman Transfer Matt Lee from UCF

Miami continues to land talent via the transfer portal. Matt Lee, an offensive lineman from UCF made his commitment to the Hurricanes Sunday afternoon.

He visited Coral Gables this weekend and Miami was able to gain another commitment to the O-Line and second via the transfer portal (Javion Cohen).

As a freshman, Lee played in and started all ten games at center. He was named first-team all-conference by The American Athletic Conference.

As a junior Lee appeared in and started 12 games at center. He earned third-team All-AAC honors from Pro Football Focus and was named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List for the best center in the nation.

Lee was a two-star prospect coming out of Hagerty High school in central Florida from the 2019 class.

Miami now has three natural centers in Lee, Jakai Clark, and 2023 signee Antonio Tripp.
