South Florida yearly has a plethora of prospects gracing the Rivals 250, proving that it is truly one of the top places in the country for elite level talent. Miami Head Coach Mario Cristobal and staff have hit the youth recruiting trail hard since the beginning of 2022. Let's take a look at some of the 2025 talent that Miami will be targeting going forward.

Byron Louis had moments spelling Ohio State commit Mark Fletcher as a freshman but really shined this spring, pushing his offer total to 18 and catching the attention of schools like Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Ohio State, Penn State, and Miami. He is seen as the future of the American Heritage Plantation program and should debut as one of the top five running backs in the nation when the 2025 rankings are released.

Jade Card is a wide receiver/edge prospect that catches coaches attention with a 6'4 200 lbs frame. Card was a two-way starter for South Broward, utilized as a primary red-zone target while collecting 64 tackles and eight sacks. He has six offers, including Miami, and he is mainly being recruited as a pass rusher.

Chris Ewald is the standard of 2025 cornerbacks. His offer sheet has already hit 20 and includes teams such as Miami, Georgia, Michigan, Oregon, and Texas A&M. Ewald has been selected to the Under Armour All-American Game for 2025, won a state championship, and collected three interceptions all in his 2nd varsity season.

Davi Belfort, the son of former MMA star Vitor Belfort chose a different athletic path with football and experienced success. Belfort totaled over 2300 yards and 27 touchdowns for Palm Beach Cardinal Newman in 2021, leading them to the playoffs. He already has 30 offers and now has the opportunity to throw to Miami target Jalen Brown at Gulliver Prep.

Ennio Yapoor is the most productive QB in Florida (and maybe the country) for the 2025 class. Winning the Dairy Farmers 2A Player of the Year award, he threw for 3300 yards and ran for another 530 yards while scoring 37 total touchdowns. He has since transitioned from Hialeah Champagnat Catholic to Miami Norland where he will lead a dark horse Viking squad into the Florida 2A Metro classification. He holds offers from Houston, Ole Miss, Akron, and FAU.

The Miami Central pipeline only continues with Ezekiel Marcelin, Amari Wallace and Randy Adirika. All three freshmen boast elite offer sheets with Marcelin and Wallace being young starters for the Rockets during their 2021 State Championship run. Marcelin battled with Gavin Nix for the top linebacker at Legends Camp and currently holds a Miami offer. Last season, Wallace looked like a star among a D1-loaded defense and has since picked up offers from Auburn, Kentucky, Colorado, and Tennessee. Addiricka is touted as the next Rueben Bain for Central. He stood out this spring as a mammoth interior pass rusher and now holds offers from Auburn, Florida State, Florida, Kentucky, Maryland, and Tennessee.

Dillard's connecting middle school has allowed this trench trio to acclimate to the varsity level faster than most. Armondo Blount has been offered by nearly every elite program in the country and has 21 varsity sacks going into his sophomore year. He very well could be the highest-rated recruit in Dillard's prestigious history. Smith and Greene have not racked up the same production as Blount, but both hit double-digit offers this off-season and were rotational pieces in 2021. Dillard is front-loaded with 2025 talent and with 3-star 2024 DE Joshua Lloyd, their defensive line compares to any high school group in the country.

Homestead is on the rise after making it to the 3rd round of the Florida 7A Playoffs and Cortez Mills figures to be a central piece to that ascension. As a freshman surrounded by talent, he was able to record 31 catches, 726 yards, and five touchdowns. That high level of production and his 6'1" frame have pushed his offers to 16 and include Miami, Boston College, Florida State, Michigan, Utah, and West Virginia.
