Will Mallory is doing his best to uphold the title of 'Tight End U.' Mallory was the highest-graded tight end at the Senior Bowl according to Pro Football Focus. He was also graded as the sixth-best player overall in the game.
Mallory will continue to build his draft stock at the NFL combine scheduled for February 28th to March 6th. Defensive back Tyrique Stevenson, who also had an impressive showing at the Senior Bowl, is the only other Miami Hurricanes invited to the NFL combine.
Mallory put together his best season in his final year at 'The U' accumulating 42 receptions for 538 yards and three touchdowns. He ended his career top-two in Hurricane history among tight ends in touchdowns, receptions, and yardage.
Shane Hallman of Draft Countdown has Mallory projected as a 6th-round pick to the Cincinnati Bengals.
